Why Bikram Yoga?

The 26 postures and two breathing exercised combined with an intentionally heated studio are what make a Bikram Yoga class uniquely therapuetic and effective.

The heat helps to warm the muscles and increases circulation allowing students to more safely move into the postures. It also promotes sweating which helps to cleanse and detoxify. Our studio is kept at a comfortable 40C. which in just slightly higher than normal body temperature.

Each posture is performed twice allowing the student to explore their body on the first set and then try to go a bit deeper on the second set.
